Representation through Trans Joy
Trans, nonbinary, genderfluid, and genderqueer characters are often portrayed through hardship. But what happens when their stories are centered on joy or neutrality? This panel brings together comic creators who explore the possibilities of representation by creating characters and narratives that celebrate gender diversity with humor and hope. Join us for a conversation about the power of joyful storytelling, the creative choices that make it possible, and the importance of seeing trans and nonbinary lives reflected in ways that are about more than survival.
